Each winter, thousands of ducks call the Chesapeake Bay their home. One of their favorite places to visit is in Cambridge, Maryland where they are easily accessible for photography.
Join Emily Carter Mitchell on the Choptank River and enjoy several different species of ducks. Species include Canvas backs, American Wigeons, Greater and Lesser Scaups. We will spend time along the water working on a variety of captures of these ducks from active group diving to striving for the one duck that is separate from the flock for an isolated image.
This class is designed for aspiring bird and nature photographers. Whether you are new to bird photography or more seasoned, the ducks in Cambridge will have you walk away with amazing images.
- The selection of ISO and shutter speeds to maximizing your camera’s ability to capture birds in action.
- How to observe wildlife in action and discover their patterns and habits.
- How to pan and shoot with a moving subject.
- Capturing birds in flight.
This class is limited to just 6 people due to space constraints at our shooting location.
