2017, August 20: Historic Fells Point

Jump start your creativity, resurface your enthusiasm and add diversity to your portfolio economically in a historic waterfront town.

Join Karen L. Messick for a morning street shoot; explore new shooting techniques, create dramatic images and experience street photography tips. We’ll work on creative compositions and exposures.

We’ll capture the charisma of the old tugs in the morning harbor in addition to the cobblestone streets where old trolley tracks remain. We’ll focus on capturing the many old storefronts, restaurants and charming century old buildings. We’ll be on the look out for co-operative folks on the street willing to be photographed and their pets as well.

If you have a Lensbaby, bring it along and learn how to expand your creative style!  iPhone shooters? Come on down, Karen will be happy to help you continue developing your iPhone photography skills (assuming you are already familiar with using some of the iPhone apps or have attended any of Karen’s iPhone classes).

Bring a tripod, your camera manual, and any lenses in the range of 18mm-200mm.

Class Limit:  10
