Enjoy the graceful beauty of the Lotus blossoms and water lilies in their full glory at Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens. We will visit the gardens for the early morning light, capturing dew laden lotus and other aquatic flowers.
Join Emily Carter Mitchell and learn how to develop an artistic eye with nature as your subject. Improve your floral and nature photography by learning the concepts of subject framing and background selection that influences your compositional choices. Gain a deeper understanding in your camera settings and how they influence the level of focus in your images and how to make the right adjustments for proper exposure.
Additional tools for floral and nature photography will be shared including reflectors, diffusers and other creative techniques.
· Camera with a zoom lens of 16-300mm focal range
· Tripod and shutter release cable
· Macro gear and reflectors or diffusers (if you have them)
· Circular Polarizing filter will come in handy (bring it along if you have one)
