It’s Time! The Mid Atlantic Photo Visions, Just A Week Away

It's that time of year again, the Mid-Atlantic Photo Visions Expo is just a week away and we can hardly wait!!!

Plunge into a rich weekend of photography — from vendor exhibits and juried galleries to speaker presentations and immersive photo shoot. Whether you’re a beginner or seasoned shooter, there’s something at MAPV to light up your photographic passion.

The event is held in Arlington this year at George Mason University, Mason Square. It's Metro accessible so they're expecting a great turnout!

- Entrance to the event, its Vendor/Sponsor area, and the gallery of juried images is free.
- Presentations and workshops require tickets that can be purchased in advanced or at the door (provided tickets are still available).

Every year MAPV features an amazing lineup of renown speakers and this year is no different! Don't miss out, sign up for any of the inspiring speakers and get your creative juices flowing!

If you’re looking to move beyond watching to start doing, the Hands-On Workshops are where the real craft happens. Bring your camera and learn new skills. Sign up early as each one is limited in size; seats are sold first-come, first-served.
Our own Beth Haubach, Lori Saunders and Marie Joabar will be holding Hands-On sessions on Abstract Photography, Night Photography and Light Painting as Art (respectively).

They also have the popular Raptor Photo Shoots so all you bird lovers, don't miss the opportunity! The sessions begin at 9 a.m. on both days and end at 2:45 p.m. Secure Your Spot—Spaces Are Limited!

One of our favorite things about MAPV is the 500+ juried photos on exhibit from club members and students from area schools. These alone are worth the visit, they are incredibly inspiring!
