Eclectic Hampden Field Shoot

Hampden is a close-knit neighborhood in Baltimore that is known for housing many of the mill workers along the Jones Falls at the turn of the century. Join Instructor Michael Koren for some street photography in this unique neighborhood and capture an area in transition where the past and present collide.
We’ll have opportunities to photograph the older fading industrial areas as well as the colorful stone homes in the area.
Michael will also lead the group to a hidden area filled with colorful graffiti and a view of the river.
Topics include:
- How to create unique images that stand out
- Looking for the intimate details in urban scenes
- Effective street photography
Recommended gear: Digital camera with a lens range from wide-angle to telephoto like 24mm to 200mm. Smartphone's are also welcome.
Class limit: 8-9
Questions can be directed to Marie Joabar at info@capitalphotographycenter.com.
