Summer Sunflowers

Fee does not include the park entrance fee. Participants will need to get their own Early Bird ticket for 6am-8am.
Have you ever wanted to photograph sunshine? Here's your chance! We'll visit a farm that plants 70+ acres of sunshine in the form of over 30 varieties of sunflowers.
Unlike some other sunflower fields in the area, here you will be able to photograph sunflowers in differing heights, sizes and colors ranging from yellows, oranges, reds, bi-colors to even white ones.
These blooms serve as attractors to many insects & birds; providing wonderful opportunities to photograph bees, butterflies and other flying creatures as they visit the flowers.
We’ll work with you to get good exposures, and help you ‘see’ creative compositions using different techniques. Capture a range of images from the wide expanse down to the intimate details.
Come away with a camera full of your all-time favorites of sunny sunflowers.
Recommended Equipment – Digital camera with a variety of lenses from wide angle, mid-range, telephoto to macro, 18-200mm should be fine. A circular polarizing filter. If you have them bring your diffuser & reflector. Tripod.
