Snow Geese Photo Workshop

Snow Geese Photo Workshop

Witness an amazing spectacle of nature with the migration of Snow Geese! Each year in early spring, thousands of these birds arrive in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Spending their days foraging on the corn fields, and roosting at night on the lake, they refuel before heading out on their last push north.

Their sheer numbers and their aerial acrobatics make for some incredible photo opportunities.

Join Kim Kelly for this 2-day event where you will have the chance to photograph the geese and other migratory birds during both late afternoon, early evening and morning light.

Topics include:

  • Camera gear & accessories that are ideal for capturing birds
  • How to properly expose for your subjects
  • Learn about habits and habitats of birds
  • Field techniques and ethics in photographing wildlife

You’ll be amazed to witness this stunning event of nature!

This Workshop includes an post workshop image review on Feb 25. It will be recorded if you are not able to make it.

A block of rooms has been set aside at a nearby hotel and information will be in the confirmation email. The room rate will be around $217 and is not included in the price of the workshop.
