Chesapeake Bay Morning Photo Shoot

Chesapeake Bay Morning Photo Shoot

Capture unique images of Chesapeake Bay scenes. From the vantage point of a boat, we'll photograph the Bay Bridge with colorful reflections, iconic lighthouses, and crabbers or oystermen, all bathed in the early morning light through golden hour.

With guidance, you’ll refine your skills for working with dynamic light to create iconic Chesapeake Bay images. Whether you’re using a DSLR or mirrorless camera, we’ll help you come away with amazing images.

Skill Level: All levels are welcome but some familiarity with manual settings would be helpful.

Recommended Gear:
- Digital SLR or Mirrorless camera with lenses (wide angle - telephoto). 24-70 and a 100-400 if you have that. If not, consider renting, we recommend Apeturent in DC.
- Although it is not required, having two camera bodies is helpful to avoid changing lenses on the water.
- Charged batteries and empty cards.
- Windbreaker/Waterproof Jacket/Winter Hat/Gloves - dress for fall on the water. There is no protection from the wind on the boat.
