Floral Indulgence Photography Workshop

Join Kim Kelly in this floral workshop where you will learn techniques to photograph flowers and other floral subjects.
This is a three session workshop:
1. We’ll kick it off meeting online for an inspiring presentation covering creative ideas, tips and techniques for floral photography.
2. For the in-the-field photo shoot, we’ll visit the beautiful Rawlings Conservatory in Baltimore. We’ll be able to practice and apply Kim’s lessons in the Conservatory’s 5 different floral climates including an Orchid room, a dry desert-like area, a Mediterranean environment, and more.
3. We'll conclude the workshop with an image review session on Zoom
Topics include:
- The importance of depth-of-field; How to get sharpness across the whole flower or capture just a few petals sharp.
- Framing for compelling floral images

Closing out the workshop, students will later share some of their favorites with Kim for the Online Image Review.
